Festival Venues around Llangollen

🚂 Llangollen Railway Station

If you love a bit of nostalgia with your nibbles, The Station is a must. The Llangollen & Corwen Railway winds its way through the Dee Valley, hugging the river for 10 glorious miles all the way to Corwen. Each of the five stations along the route has its own character – think charming platforms, scenic walks, and plenty of photo opportunities.

🎶 Centenary Square

Right in the heart of town, just south of the bridge, Centenary Square is where things get lively. It’s a spacious open area with seating, perfect for grabbing a bite and catching some live entertainment. There’ll be a handful of stalls here too -ideal for a quick browse between acts.

🏛️ Town Hall

Castle Street’s Town Hall has been part of Llangollen’s story since 1867. It’s hosted everything from plays and concerts to food festivals – and this weekend, it’s all about the stalls upstairs. If the weather turns, this is your cosy escape.

🛍️ Market Street

This is your classic street market setup – right next to the town’s biggest car park (and yes, the public loos). It’s packed with stalls offering everything from foodie finds to quirky gifts. And the best part? It’s just a short stroll from all the other venues, so you won’t miss a thing.

🍷 Gales Wine Bar

Follow the bunting down Bridge Street and you’ll find Gales – the oldest wine bar in Wales, and a bit of a local legend. Their courtyard is a hidden gem, filled with food producers, makers, and gift ideas.
