Cardiff Distillery is family-run and was founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife Paul and Julie as a good way to have a new range of spirits in their hotel bar. Cardiff Distillery has now become their main priority due to a huge expansion on contract distilling, bottling and canning. This has led to being put forward as a finalist for scale-up business in the Wales Food & Drink awards 2022.
As the first and only distillery in Cardiff, we wanted to take the past and inject our modern approach by mixing copper stills and state-of-the-art new equipment. Our distillery team has a wealth of experience in distilling which is underpinned by a scientific approach, our head distiller Ben combines his Master's in biology with an exceptional palate to create the most exquisite spirits. The combination of the two has led to us winning multiple awards with our own range and spirits crafted for our customers.
